Cinta lagi... cinta lagi...

Semalem saya nonton Twilight. Bikin ngiler ya bow, punya pacar yang luar biasa ganteng, punya kekuatan super, dan tergila-gila sama kita. Hahaha, lumayan menghibur lah, setelah keputusan males-pulang-cepet,-ke-bioskop-dulu-aaah saya sebelumnya berakhir dengan kekecewaan akibat filem ngga jelas berjudul P2.

Heniwei, sebenernya kemaren siang saya lagi baca novel Sex and the City. Setelah sekian jam dicekoki tulisannya Candace Bushnell tentang kecenderungan relationship masa kini, saya mulai mengamini gituh. Salah satu bagian yang menurut saya menarik adalah waktu teman pria Bushnell ngomong gini: 

The problem is expectations. Older women don't want to settle for what's still available. They can't find guys who are cool and vital, so they say screw it—I'd rather be alone. No, I don't feel sorry for anyone who has expecta­tions they can't meet. I feel sorry for the loser guys who these women won't look at. 

What they really want is Alec Baldwin. There isn't one woman in New York who hasn't turned down ten wonderful, loving guys because they were too fat or they weren't powerful enough or they weren't rich enough or indifferent enough. But those really sexy guys the women are holding out for are interested in girls in their mid-twenties. Why don't those women marry a fat guy? Why don't they marry a big, fat tub of lard?

Dan temen wanita Bushnell ngomong gini:

I'll tell you why. I've gone out with some of those guys—the ones who are short, fat, and ugly—and it doesn't make any difference. They're just as unappreciative and self-centered as the good-looking ones.

Hahaha, she's got a point, right? :)

Dan Twilight jadi penutup yang manis hari itu. Saya kayak dikembalikan ke dunia nyata, bahwa masih ada kok cinta yang ngga perhitungan, ngga palsu, ngga mandang fisik (meski semua vampir di filem itu digambarkan dengan cantik-ganteng, mwahahaha), ngga mikirin ke depannya nanti bakal gimana. Twilight nyisain senyum di bibir saya sebelum tidur, sambil bayangin si vampir ganteng mampir dalam mimpi saya.

Tapi paginya saya baru nyadar, klo yang maen jadi vampirnya jelek, apa filemnya bakal semenarik itu? :D
